Erik joined the GPI team in 2007. He was invited along for the ride one weekend late in the season and the team discovered that he had a great talent for taking photos and videos of the team in action. Erik often asks questions about the karts and how they work, showing great interest in the subject. Erik proved to be a great asset to the team when he continued to travel with the team for the rest of the season. Erik did race once at Shawano, WI, and had a lot of fun. Plans going forward are to have Erik continue to be part of the team and maybe even drive at the bigger races if he wishes. We are looking forward to Erik capturing the moment in photos and videos for all to enjoy. |
