Tim started karting in the summer of 2005. His first race was in March of 2006 at the Infineon Raceway in
Sonoma, CA. To start the race, Tim was required to start in the back due to his "novice" status, finishing the race
at second overall in TaG Light. This class is for single speed 125 cc karts with electric start. His next event was
the Super-Nationals at Road America. Out of 65 karts in his class, Tim worked his way to the 19th spot in the
best group of TaG road racers in the US.

The next stop was Blackhawk Farms Raceway in Illinois. Running in the Sprint Open Class, Tim and his father,
Randy, were running first and second with 5 minutes to go in their 30 minute heat when Tim's water pump belts
broke - resulting in the end of that run. The last race of 2006 was in Milwaukee with a full field in Sprint Open.
Tim backed up his Dad again as they finished the final race in 2nd and 3rd place.

The 2007 new season brought with is a new racing class. Tim was to concentrate on Spec Moto 125 Shifter. While this was a "huge"
step, Tim took on the challenge by diving into the deep end. The first race was Road America Super Nationals in June - with Tim
finishing in 3rd place both Saturday and Sunday.

Knowing there was a "long road" ahead to the front - the next race in Grattan, MI brought with it a new perspective. Tim found his
"true place" on this new track. The team brought a spare chassis with a 80cc Shifter motor. While he was 4 seconds a lap slower, this
combo is much more forgiving to the driver. Tim did double duty running the 80 Sr. Class and Spec Moto finishing with an impressive
3rd place in the 80cc Class, followed by a fourth place behind his Dad in Spec Moto.

Blackhawk was the next race and was run in the rain. Since the race was just for show--only rain points were given to the drivers--Tim
decided not to take the risk and not to participate in most of the events. Next came Iowa, with Tim moving to the 80 motor to his
Tony Kart chassis. He fought hard with another racer and ended with a win in the 80cc Sr. Race on Saturday and finishing second on
Sunday only a couple of seconds behind the front runner. Tim continued to fight for the first place position in Milwaukee by
exchanging the lead with another driver 40 plus times with a titanic battle for the lead, ending with second place.

Tim finished 4th in 2007 with all the races' points combined, and third overall in Spec Moto 125. Considering these points were for
only ½ of the season, these are very impressive results.

With Tim comfortable in the lead pack of 80 Sr., he is going into 2008 with one goal … the 2008 Championship!
